That’s a phrase that could have been invented for the humble chalk box, also known as a chalk line. Consisting of a box filled with chalk powder and a reel of string inside, there’s not much too it. But it’s still a must-have tool for anyone wanting to mark long, straight lines over distance.

Ideal for instances and materials where a ruler or straight-edged tool would be impractical, they’re simple and easy to use. On one end of the chalk powdered string is a metal hook, which you attach to an object. Then it’s just a case of reeling out the line over the required distance until it’s taut. A simple pluck of the string at its centre will leave a neat line of chalk over the area covered.

But what do you do when the chalk powder runs out? Don’t worry, we have you covered. Available in a number of colours to match corresponding products, this is a blue refill.

Stay On the Straight and Narrow

Chalk line tools are typically used for marking long, straight lines over flat horizontal or vertical surfaces. The chalk line they produce can be used as a reliable, accurate guides prior to cutting, laying tiles, levelling posts, or even applying wallpaper.

For deliveries outside of our local zone (17-mile radius of Paddock Wood) we send items out via a trusted third-party courier service. The price for pallet delivery outside our zone is £72.00 (2-3 days).

Parcel Delivery

Orders weighing less than 30kg will be sent via a trusted third-party courier service. The price for a parcel under 30kg is £14.40 (2-3 days) and £15.99 (next day).
