A smooth, flat surface and rich colour result in a decorative stone that offers excellent coverage and a sense of opulence. Dusky and opaque when dry, the colours deepen and shine when wet.
Our Plum Slate can be used in wet and dry areas to create contrast with itself – use in a pond or waterfall feature for an intense and glistening effect and surround with the lighter, more muted dry slate.
Plum Slate chippings are also stunning when used in combination with a white pebble or a black slate, or as a contrast to a green and white planting scheme.
Use this decorative slate to define a path or planting area, decorate pots or create a gorgeous rockery.
The 5-30mm chips are perfect for drives, paths, plant pots and ground cover. The larger 30-50mm slate chips are a good choice for use on borders, paths and between paved areas.
Our slate garden chippings are a by-product from roofing production and monumental stonemasonry.
Size: 5-30mm / 30-50mm
