Product Description

Our New French Oak Sleepers are a warm honey colour that will eventually weather to a silvery grey.  They have a beautifully raw appearance, bringing character and that much coveted rustic feel to landscaping and building projects.

These multipurpose hardwood sleepers are untreated so completely safe to use in your garden, whether around a water feature, or to make a raised vegetable bed or child’s sandpit.

However, you don’t have to sacrifice longevity for peace of mind: the tannins in oak are such an outstanding natural preservative that these sleepers last for decades without the need for man-made preservatives.

Build raised beds, steps, a decorative bridge, or a retaining wall with ease (depending on your DIY skills of course!) If your ability allows, you can use them to make door, window or fireplace lintels, playground equipment, a deck, or furniture. Or, if your practical prowess has not quite caught up with your creative mind, why not enlist someone who can help you realise your ideas?
