Product Description
Our New Softwood Sleepers are made from a slow grown Baltic pine known for its strength and durability. They are kiln dried to prevent twisting and splitting, and pressure treated for rot resistance.
The timber is a light honey colour that will weather over a couple of years to a silvery grey. They have a beautifully raw appearance, bringing character and that much coveted rustic feel to landscaping and building projects.
These multipurpose treated softwood sleepers are safe, long-lasting and easy to work with.
Build raised beds, steps, a decorative bridge, or a retaining wall with ease (depending on your DIY skills of course!) If your ability allows, you can use them to make door, window or fireplace lintels, playground equipment, a deck, or furniture. Or, if your practical prowess has not quite caught up with your creative mind, why not enlist someone who can help you realise your ideas?
We recommend yearly maintenance with deck seal, oil or stain to help prevent rot, warping and splitting.
