As a family run business with a young passionate team, we care deeply about our impact on the environment. Despite the enormity of the challenge and our relative impact, we are excited to take on the challenges that lay ahead, and feel that we can make a significant difference within the landscape industry.
Why Sustainability Matters
Climate change is a pressing issue. The world needs to achieve Net-Zero by 2050 to stabilise global temperatures and keep global heating below the 1.5-degree Paris Agreement goal. Small businesses like us play a crucial role in achieving Net-Zero emissions by 2050.
Sustainable Products You Can Trust
Environmentally preferable purchasing has been part of our strategy since 2018, and is our long-term commitment to the environment. By sending a clear signal to producers and suppliers about this commitment, we hope to support wider adoption of environmentally preferable products and practices. Look out for these icons on the product pages of our site, showing which categories each product falls within.

Full Circle Economy
In relation to nature, a ‘Full Circle Economy’ means creating a system where everything we use goes back into nature without causing harm or waste. It’s just like how nature works: everything serves a purpose and is reused. In Full Circle Economy, products are designed and used in a way that they can be completely recycled to safely return to the environment, reducing waste and saving resources.
Recycled
Where possible we promote the use of Recycled Materials in the products we sell. The primary example of this is our Green Compost, which is produced from green waste such as grass, leaves, and tree cuttings, and household food waste including fruit, vegetables, bakery, dairy, fish and meat. Not only does this compost reduce environmental impact, but it also improves the health of your soil and captures more carbon. We’re also exploring the use of recycled aggregate. This is an incredible and eco-friendly solution, breathing new life into old construction materials like concrete, bricks, and tiles. When a building is demolished or remodelled, instead of discarding these valuable materials, they’re crushed into smaller pieces, transforming what was once considered waste into a treasure trove of resources.
Carbon Captured
Carbon Capture (Carbon dioxide sequestration) is a process that involves the capture and long-term storage of carbon dioxide, to prevent its release into the atmosphere. The process is necessary to reduce greenhouse gases, which are harmful to the environment and contribute to global warming
Responsibly Sourced
Irresponsible sourcing damages ecosystems through deforestation, unsustainable mining, or harmful harvesting practices. Some landscaping materials, like certain types of mulch or stone, can be resource-intensive to extract. The extraction and processing of materials can pollute air and water. Responsible sourcing encourages practices that minimise this impact.
