Preparation
Mixing
Pour 7 litres of clean water into a suitable container. Gradually add the UltraScape Pro-Prime powder while mixing for 3 to 5 minutes until a smooth, lump-free slurry is achieved.
The primer should be applied to the supporting layer or roadbase just before laying the paving course. Ensure to prime the underside of the paving elements at a thickness of 1mm to 2mm immediately prior to their placement.
Application
All surfaces should be pre-soaked with clean water right before applying UltraScape Pro-Prime. The supporting layer or roadbase must be coated with the primer at a thickness of 1mm to 2mm immediately. Ensure that the slurry remains fresh and wet when the fine bedding concrete is applied.
One 20kg bag of UltraScape Pro-Prime covers an area of 15m² at 1-2mm thickness.
