1. What is the Heritage Sandstone Paving collection?
The Heritage Sandstone Paving collection by Corker offers a luxurious range of paving stones designed to emulate the timeless elegance of historical estates. Each variety—Ashdown, Beech, Hever, and Holden—features unique colour blends and textures that evoke the charm of natural stone found in prestigious manors and castles.
2. What finishes and textures are available in this collection?
The paving stones in the Heritage collection are meticulously aged using techniques such as sand-rubbing, polishing, and brushing. This process results in a distinctive texture that enhances the stone’s natural appearance, providing an authentic and refined finish suitable for various outdoor spaces.
3. Are these paving slabs suitable for the UK climate?
Yes, the Heritage Sandstone Paving slabs are designed to withstand the UK’s variable weather conditions. Their durability and natural properties make them ideal for year-round use in gardens, patios, and driveways.
4. What sizes and thicknesses are available for these paving slabs?
The Heritage collection offers paving slabs in various sizes, with a standard calibrated thickness of 22mm. This uniform thickness ensures ease of installation and consistency across the paved area, providing a seamless and professional finish.
5. Are Corker’s Heritage sandstone products ethically sourced?
Yes, Corker’s sandstone products are ethically produced, complying with ISO 9001:2008 and SA8000:2008 standards. This ensures responsible sourcing practices and fair labour conditions at the point of origin.
6. How should I maintain my Heritage sandstone paving to keep it looking its best?
Regular sweeping and occasional washing with water are usually sufficient to maintain the appearance of sandstone paving. For added protection against staining and weathering, consider using appropriate sealants. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the stone’s natural finish.
