Don’t Neutralise Your Hard Work!

It is worth mentioning that tap water is often neutral (pH of 7) or alkaline and can actually neutralise acidic soil.

We recommend using collected rainwater for watering your ericaceous plants to avoid the telltale yellowing leaves of lime-induced chlorosis, which stunts growth and usually results in an untimely death. Alternatively, you can test your tap water’s pH and stir in some vinegar if pH is at 6.5 or higher.
