  • How do I work out how much grass seed do I need?

For lawns and landscaping it would generally be between 35-50g per m2.

To work out how much seed required. Multiply the length by the width, then multiply the answer by the sowing rate, then divide by 1000. Example:

A lawn measuring 25m x 40m .

25m x 40m x 50g / 1000 = 50kg

You will require 50kg of seed.

  • How much seed is in a Corker Bag?

A large bag is 10kg or half is 5kg.

  • How long does grass seed take to germinate?

Normally between 7-10 days.

  • When is the best time to sow grass seed?

The best time is mid spring early autumn. For best results the soil should be warm and moist.

Drop Off Delivery

There is a £40 delivery charge for orders without a bulk bag in our local zone. When a bulk bag is added to the cart, the order will qualify for free local delivery and the £40 charge will automatically be removed.

Pallet Delivery

For deliveries outside of our local zone (17-mile radius of Paddock Wood) we send items out via a trusted third-party courier service. The price for pallet delivery outside our zone is £72.00 (2-3 days).

Parcel Delivery

Orders weighing less than 30kg will be sent via a trusted third-party courier service. The price for a parcel under 30kg is £14.40 (2-3 days) and £15.99 (next day).
