Circular Economy
Within a circular economy, soil is treated as a resource to be retained rather than removed. Recycled topsoil is recovered, screened, and returned to use so that existing material remains in productive circulation. By keeping soil within the construction and landscape cycle, we reduce unnecessary extraction and protect a finite natural asset.
More DetailsRecycled
Recycled topsoil is soil that has been recovered, screened and processed for reuse rather than disposal. When managed responsibly, recycled topsoil can support planting and landscaping while reducing demand for virgin soil resources.
More DetailsResponsibly Sourced
Responsibly sourcing topsoil means understanding what sits beneath the surface. This section explains how we consider origin, composition and handling when selecting topsoil, and how those decisions support soil health, consistency and long-term landscape performance.
More DetailsCarbon Capture
Topsoil can contribute to carbon storage when organic matter within the soil retains carbon captured during plant growth and biological activity.
Through photosynthesis, plants absorb carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the atmosphere. A proportion of this carbon is transferred into the soil through roots, organic inputs and microbial processes, where it can remain stored.

Product Description
If you’re serious about giving your plants the best possible start, this premium blended recycled topsoil delivers exactly what you’re looking for.
Carefully sourced from site excavations on new developments, this isn’t just “reclaimed soil” it’s been expertly screened and refined to remove unwanted material, leaving a clean, consistent base. From there, it’s thoughtfully blended with quality organic green compost to bring life back into the soil, improving structure, nutrient content, and moisture retention.
What really sets it apart is the inclusion of a natural stone element. This subtle addition enhances drainage, helping to prevent waterlogging while still holding enough moisture where your plants need it most, a balance that gardeners know is hard to get right.
The result is a rich, workable topsoil that’s ideal for everything from lawn preparation and raised beds to borders and general landscaping. It’s easy to spread, easy to plant into, and designed to perform season after season.
Fully certified to BS3882:2015, you can be confident you’re using a product that meets strict quality standards consistent, reliable, and ready to support healthy growth.
If you want soil that works with you, not against you, this is the kind of foundation that makes all the difference.
Why Choose Corker Topsoil?
Achieving optimal carbon retention in soil necessitates a harmonious blend of water, air pockets, and sand. Incorporating elements like stone, living organisms such as fungi, and nutrients derived from recycled green compost further contributes to this equilibrium.
Gardeners typically maintain this balance by consistently introducing organic matter to their soil. However, Corker’s soil presents the ideal formula, already enriched with these essential attributes, thereby saving you money.
No additional nutrients are needed for the initial 12 months, as Corker’s topsoil comes pre-equipped with all the necessary components.
A balanced soil equals thriving plants.
Thriving plants, in turn, contribute to a health environment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What exactly is blended topsoil?
A: It’s a superior recycled topsoil, carefully sourced from site excavations, screened to remove unwanted material, and blended with organic green compost to improve structure, nutrients, and moisture retention. It’s fully certified to BS3882:2015, meaning it’s consistent, reliable, and ready to support healthy growth.
Q: Does Corker topsoil have clay in it?
A: Definitely not, this is a top-grade product. There might be a few small stones, but they’re part of the mix to help with drainage.
Q: How much topsoil will I need for my garden?
A: That depends on what you’re doing! For raised beds, you’ll want a minimum 20cm depth, while levelling a lawn needs at least 10cm. Try our online calculator, use our live chat, or give us a call.
Q: Is this topsoil good for vegetable patches?
A: Absolutely. The added organic green compost brings life back into the soil, making it great for vegetable patches, flower beds, and new lawns, giving your plants the nutrients they need to thrive from the start.
Q: Can I use this topsoil for everything in my garden?
A: It’s great for most jobs, like raised beds or veggie patches, but it’s not the best for seeding or top dressing. For those, we’d recommend our Rootzone soil – it’s better suited for finer work.
